The online ammonolysis instrument streamlines gas-phase cleavage and deprotection into a single, efficient step. By accommodating both the synthesis plate and column directly within the reaction chamber, it enables direct desalting of products like oligonucleotides following deprotection. The final products can then be eluted from the solid support in your buffer of choice, entirely eliminating transfer steps. This instrument provides a fast, efficient, and robust solution for the cleavage and deprotection of DNA, RNA, and other oligonucleotides.

(1)Unified Cleavage & Deprotection in a Single Step

The ammonolysis instrument consolidates oligonucleotide cleavage and deprotection into a single, efficient step by utilizing heated ammonia gas or aqueous ammonia in a gas-phase process. Synthesis plates or columns are placed directly into the reaction chamber. Following gas-phase deprotection, products such as oligonucleotides can be desalted directly and then eluted from the solid support using your buffer of choice, eliminating all transfer steps.

(2)Precise Temperature and Pressure Control

The system is equipped with integrated stirring, heating, and temperature control, allowing for real-time in-line monitoring of both temperature and pressure. Simply set the desired temperature, and the PID controller will continuously calculate and compensate for any deviation to minimize fluctuations and maintain stable reaction conditions.
